A well-run NYC attraction

I booked the Combination Ticket online, which was simple enough to navigate on their website. I received my confirmation email instantly, which was good. On arrival, the staff managing the queue for the SkyPod Elevators were very organized, and the ride itself was quick and quite an experience. The City Pulse Multimedia show was informative, and the Sky Portal Experience was a nice touch. I had a quick drink at One Mix Bar, which was busy but service was prompt. The views from the 100th floor were spectacular, as advertised. Everything felt well-maintained and clean, including the restrooms. Overall, a really solid operation from start to finish.

Good views, minor wait

My family and I got the All-Inclusive Ticket for a visit last month. The views were truly impressive, especially the 360-degree panorama of the city; you really can see everything. The See Forever Theater was a cool intro. The only slight drawback was the wait time to get through security, even with pre-booked tickets. It added about 15-20 minutes to our entry, which felt a bit long. Once inside, though, the experience was great, and the staff were helpful. Good value for what you get, but they could probably streamline that initial entry process a bit more.

Unforgettable NYC views!

What an incredible experience! I went with the Standard Admission and it was so worth it. The views from the 100th floor were absolutely breathtaking. You can see so much of New York City, it's just amazing. The SkyPod Elevators were super fast and the whole visit was really well organized. I loved every minute of it and will definitely be going back on my next trip! You have to check it out!

Always a great experience

I've visited One World Observatory a few times now, and this latest trip with the Standard Admission was just as smooth as the others. The views are consistently amazing, and getting through security and up the SkyPod Elevators was efficient, like before. It's why I keep coming back when I'm in the city; reliability matters.

Awesome views from the top

I just went up to One World Observatory last week with my friends. We bought the Standard Admission tickets online, which was easy. Getting in was pretty quick, didn't have to wait too long. The elevator ride up was fast, and the views from the top floors were seriously cool. You could see all over the city, it was wild. I took a bunch of photos. It was a good way to spend an afternoon.

thinking about doing one world observatory but also summit one vanderbilt. anyone been to both? which one is better for views and just overall experience?

K Kevin A. 3 weeks ago
OWO is cool for the historical significance and the 360 views are insane. Summit is more 'instagrammable' with all the mirrors and art. Depends what you're looking for.

I liked OWO more, felt more classic NYC. Summit was a bit too much 'experience' and less actual view for me, if that makes sense.

what's the deal if it's super cloudy on the day of my visit? can i reschedule or get a refund?

L Leah Hall 1 month ago
From what I remember, they don't really do refunds just for clouds. It's an all-weather attraction. You'd still get to see the exhibits and stuff, just maybe not the killer view.

That's a bummer, but yeah, it's pretty much 'come as you are' weather-wise. Best to check the forecast a few days before and pick a clear day if you can reschedule.

hey planning a trip to NYC next month, what's the deal with tickets? should i buy them ahead of time or can i just show up?

H Hannah P. 3 weeks ago
Definitely buy online beforehand. They can sell out, especially during peak times. Plus it's usually cheaper.

Yeah, if you just walk up they might not have any slots, or you'll be waiting forever. I did that once for Top of the Rock, never again.

Is there usually a promo code floating around for one world observatory tickets? trying to save a few bucks.

A Amanda R. 6 days ago
Sometimes you can find codes, but it's not super common to get a huge discount that way. You might have better luck with those multi-attraction passes if you're hitting other spots.

Yeah, i think i saw some black friday deals last year but outside of that it's mostly those city passes or resident/military discounts.

can you actually see the statue of liberty clearly from up there? that's one of the main things i want to see.

D Danielle Moore 1 month ago
Oh absolutely! It's a fantastic view of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, and the harbor. Super clear on a good day.

Yep, you get a great perspective of it, especially from the south-facing windows. Bring a zoom lens if you're into photography!
